On the 15th of November, 2023, the Federal government officially inaugurated the 3 Million Technical Talent Programme (3MTT). The inaugural event was broadcast live on the FMCIDE Nigeria YouTube channel.
The management of the 3MTT program has announced that candidates shortlisted in the initial phase of training will receive communication via email outlining the subsequent steps. Therefore, it is advised that applicants regularly check their email for updates.
How to Check your name on the 3MTT Proram
To check their selection status, applicants can log in to their 3MTT training dashboard at https://app.3mtt.training/login. A “selected” status will be displayed for those who have been chosen in the first phase.
For those not selected in the initial phase, the dashboard will indicate that their application is under review. However, these applicants will still become part of the 3MTT Learning Community and will be queued for potential participation in future phases of the training program. In the first phase, 30,000 individuals will be selected, followed by an additional 300,000 in the second phase, as per the management’s announcement.
When would 3MTT Training Start?
The Learning Community for shortlisted candidates is scheduled to commence on the 4th of December 2023. Meanwhile, applicants are encouraged to initiate their learning journey by accessing introductory courses in their respective skill areas available in the resources section on the official website.
Within the learning community, participants will have access to self-paced resources to enhance their learning experience. They will also have the opportunity to connect with fellow learners from their local government and state who are acquiring similar skills. Furthermore, a dedicated community manager will provide support and guidance throughout their learning journey.
