Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Police recruitment, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Be physically, mentally, and medically fit.
- Have no criminal record.
- Provide two referees who can confirm the applicant’s integrity.
- Be 18–25 years old (General Duty), while Specialist applicants may be up to 28 years.
- Female applicants must not be pregnant during the exercise.
- Applicants must be free from deformities such as speech impediments, knock knees, tattoos, flat feet, bowlegs, squint eyes, etc.
- Male candidates must be at least 1.67m in height, females 1.64m, and chest measurement for males not less than 86cm.
Required Educational Qualifications
A. General Duty Applicants
Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE/NECO/GCE, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
B. Specialist Applicants
Minimum of four (4) credits in SSCE/NECO/GCE, including English Language.
Possession of relevant trade certificates, professional certifications or Trade Test levels depending on the field.
Minimum of three years experience in the chosen trade or specialization.
